This is an excellent opportunity to join this division of an international organisation, a market leader in the supply of mechanical componentry to heavy industry, a world leader in its specialised field.
An opportunity exists for an experienced Parts Interpreter to join their team. Reporting directly to the Service Centre Manager, you will be responsible for:
• Handling and processing items
• Assess warranty and repair returns
• Liaise with internal and external customers
• Maintain and support working standards
• Adhere to safety and environmental procedures
• Read and understand drawing and technical data
• Ensure correct input of data into system
• Release available stock to customers
The successful candidate will possess:
• Previous experience as a parts interpreter will be looked upon favourably
• A team player
• Ability to work unsupervised and in a team environment
• Friendly attitude
• Strong work ethic
• A strong mechanical aptitude and an understanding of air braking systems
• Pneumatic and electronics skills desirable
• High level of organisation, time management and problem solving skills
• Strong & professional customer service skills with a confident approach
