The Organisation:
Our client is a leader in its field and as a result of a restructure has an immediate start 18 month role for an Inventory specialist.
The Position:
This role is responsible for managing freight and warehouse costs, 3PL Inventory stock levels and working to maintain and control Import/export stock. You will be responsible for administration of the Inventory control process and have strong administration and IT system knowledge.
The Person:
• The successful applicant will have 5 year’s experience with warehousing and high volume distribution centre.
• Comprehensive knowledge of SAP and WMS.
• Drive process improvements, ensure guidelines and procedures are maintained
• Demonstrated ability and experience managing import / export contracts
• Demonstrated ability and experience working with 3PL providers.
• The role will also call for well-developed oral and written communication skills, good organisational skills, computer literacy and a team orientation.
