The Position
As an S&OP Manager, you will report to the Head of Supply and be responsible for aligning the inventory investment with the business needs. As such, your responsibilities will include:
• Develop, refine and adapt the S&OP process to meet changing company needs and increase its effectiveness across the business.
• Review and analyse inventory profiles, Lost Sales and forecast accuracy in order to maintain stock levels, identify root problems, and reshape inventory appropriately.
• Lead and coordinate Business Improvement Projects to ensure timelines and principles are adhered to.
• Collaborate with teams across Procurement, Buying, Sales and Finance to provide cross-functions planning solutions and drive continuous improvement
The Person
The successful person will have the following attributes:
• At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role participating in the S&OP process, particularly surrounding business improvement, demand and project management
• Excellent oral and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and drive business goals
• A tertiary qualification in Logistics, Business, or similar as well as an APICS qualification or similar
• Superior knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Excel. Experience in Navision, AFP or similar planning systems is desired.
