Motivated, enthusiastic Business Unit Manager. Do you have a Commercial, Science, Technical Sales background with achievements to sell yourself ?
The Organisation:
Leading Supplier of Medical Device Equipment investing heavily into growth – Its product range is considered “extensive” and is widely regarded as the bench mark to industry STD’s.
The Position:
As a result of setting key growth strategies, an opportunity exists to becomes a part of the Executive Leadership Team in the role of a Business Unit Manager. The key to this role is to Implementation & Achievement in established sophisticated markets.
Business Unit Manager – core to this role is to deliver professional services in identifying, understanding and providing profitable solutions to ;
• Strategy Development, Implementation.
• Sales Planning, Deliverables & Account Management.
• Financial Modelling.
• Business Development.
The ability to understand the influences these characteristics have day to day, mid and long term planning in a profitability driven scenario. The challenge we ask from you is to deliver this in a Team Environment and Strategic Business Relationship’s.
The Person:
• The successful applicant will have tertiary qualifications in either Science, Commercial, Engineering, Sales and or Business Administration.
• Ability to formulate growth Strategies, Communicate to Board and deliver results back to the business.
• Strong Solution & Consultative Sell principles, coupled with strong numerical / financial modelling ability – sell the value or solution created.
• Demonstrate & proven pervious success rate by numerical / financial summary
• It is desirable that you possess diagnostic and analytical skills and be able to apply them effectively.
• This is a hand on role and it is desirable that you have had strong exposure to Sales, coupled with a Science / Technical background.
• Strong understanding of OH&S, ISO9001 and STD Operating Procedures. Contributes to the ongoing development of Sales & Business Administration.
• Ability to appreciate the values of Business Process and adherence / development including Document control.
• Critical to the role is extremely well-developed oral and written communication skills, good organisational skills, computer literacy and a team orientation.
