After completing business studies, Pam started her career as a Police officer with NSW Police Service. After eight years of street policing she moved to the Services’ Corporate area becoming the ‘Program Coordinator’ of the Executive Development Section. This section was at the cutting edge of ‘Selection’ and ‘Development’ procedures which were adopted for selection future senior executives. From her work in executive development, she was selected on project team to revamp the Police promotion system at the arrival of Commissioner Peter Ryan. Pam then moved on to carry out special projects in Human Resource for the former Commissioner Ken Moroney.
After leaving the Police Service in 1999 Pam started businesses in factual insurance investigation and business administration. Acting as CFO in small to medium businesses, Pam comes to Technical Focus with a diverse range of experience having provided client services in real estate, non-profit organisations, accountancy firms, a number of recruitment companies, off-shore consultancy group, property development, a leading Australian driving school and a professional association body.
Pam has a Diploma Human Resources, (specialising selection and development) and has completed Post Graduate studies in Commerce and Investigation. She holds a Cert IV trainers certification in Workplace Training and Assessment and is registered as BAS Agent with the Tax Practitioners Board. She has practical experience in recruitment, group facilitation, behavioural selection and development. Her strengths lay in client relations and the implementation of business systems and programs for improving business efficiency.
