Ray Skinner (Consultant) has almost 20 years experience in Quality Assurance and Research & Development in the Food & Beverage industry from bench chemist to Technical Director roles.

Subsequent to that he has held senior Operations and also General Management roles in major Australian multinational businesses across retail, food service, engineering and ingredients sectors. This has involved significant experience with best practice disciplines, and as a Director of CRC projects.

He has more recently spent 5 years working throughout Asia/Australasia as a Senior Consultant with the Oliver Wight organization assisting a number of FMCG and pharmaceutical companies achieve the prestigious Class A status in MRPII and also Operational Excellence. This has involved aligning software systems with business process to maximize the benefits of investments in this area.

Ray then returned to live permanently in Australia , taking on a General Manager Logistics role with the major extruder and supplier on Aluminium products in Australasia . This role encompassed improving service levels, production and warehousing efficiencies, and successfully re-implementing SAP software. This being successfully completed Ray has now joined the Technical Focus team to give us an on the ground presence in Melbourne.

Ray is a seasoned, hands-on, extremely customer/client focused manager, with experience with all levels and most disciplines in business.
